Introduction

SCAD (abbreviation of Suspended Catch Air Device) Jumping or SCAD Diving was invented in Germany by a company called Montic Fischer. Each 'diver' is lifted up in a crane and suspended from a height of around 150ft and dropped into a net below with no ropes or other devices - this can be likened to bungee jumping with no cord. You can reach speed of over 70mph in a few short moments!

I'm going to try and keep a blog of all things SCAD in the UK as this craze takes off!!
